It does sound a bit cheesy, doesn't it, providing an actual urban dictionary. But it is needed. These words are based off what London youth say. Jamaican characters are also open to Patwa, though white or any other races are highly discouraged ICly to speak it, as it's not the best look for them.
- BRUV - This is a more derogatory term used to call a person. Replacement for a name. It does not mean brother, it's what you call someone if you're angry, or don't want to say their name. ("shut up, bruv" or "bruv, are you mad!?")
- FAM - similar to bruv, more friendly. Can be used to describe family, shorter version of 'fammo'.
- SKEEN - Basically means 'ok', but sued in a more sarcastic way. (Person #1: I'm sexy, Person #2: skeen)
- RAH - surprised noise, usually exlaimed. (rah, he was ugly!)
- NEEK - a geek/nerd. Looked down upon by the majority, and is often used as a joke cuss to a friend.
- BUTTERS - another word for ugly, or to describe your disgust ("That was butters!")
THE MANY WAYS TO SAY GOOD-LOOKING
- Boom*
- Peng/leng*
- Buff*
- Noice/nice
- Fit
- Sexy*
*Can also have the word 'ting' attatched to the end, making the word a noun. So it would go from "you're boom" to "your a boomting". Essentially, you can add 'ting' to the end of any word, but these are standard words.
